Welcome to NikahEngage. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NikahEngage website and services. By creating an account or using NikahEngage, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use NikahEngage
NikahEngage is a matrimonial platform intended to help Muslims seek marriage in a halal manner. You must be at least 18 years old to register. A profile may be created and managed by the individual or, where appropriate, by a parent or guardian (wali) on the individual's behalf, with their knowledge.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide truthful information and not to impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity, age, or marital intentions.
3. Acceptable use and conduct
NikahEngage is built on respect, sincerity, and good intentions. You agree that you will not:
- Use the service for anything other than a genuine search for marriage.
- Harass, deceive, threaten, or behave inappropriately towards other members.
- Post unlawful, offensive, misleading, or sexually explicit content.
- Upload photos or content that are not your own or that you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to misuse, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
We encourage family and guardian involvement and ask all members to conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully.
4. Profile and photo review
Profiles and photos may be reviewed before they become visible to other members. We may decline, hide, or remove any profile, photo, or content that does not meet our standards or these Terms, at our discretion.
5. Connections and communication
Members may express interest in one another and, once an interest is accepted, exchange messages through the platform. You are responsible for your own communications and for any personal information you choose to share with other members. Please exercise good judgement and involve your family where appropriate before sharing personal contact details or meeting anyone.
6. No guarantee of outcomes
NikahEngage provides a platform to help members connect. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, nor do we verify every detail provided by members. You are responsible for making your own enquiries and decisions about anyone you connect with.
7. Fees
Access to NikahEngage may be offered free of charge during certain periods. We may introduce paid features in the future; any such changes will be communicated clearly before they apply to you.
8. Intellectual property
The NikahEngage name, brand, design, and platform are owned by NikahEngage. You retain ownership of the content you submit, but grant us the permission needed to display it within the service for the purpose of providing matrimonial features.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other members or to the integrity of the platform. You may close your account at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
NikahEngage is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of members or for any loss arising from your use of the service. Your interactions with other members are your own responsibility.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of NikahEngage after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
